- LaCinda was the 2nd of 4 daughters, LaCinda’s father served as the Dean of Engineering/Sciences & Technology at Brigham Young University, her mother was a homeamaker famous for making candy
- John and LaCinda lived in Provo, Utah, Washington DC, and Houston, Texas before moving to Gilbert
- Both have undergraduate degrees from Brigham Young University
- John received his MBA from the University of Houston
- LaCinda received her MS Degree from Arizona State University
- Father of 8 children (all attended Gilbert Schools)
- Oldest daughter, Lauren is married to Stephen Reber, and is a mother of two daughters, living in Texas
